ParticipantI had been planning to update my social media profile and wanted to make sure the new picture was actually an improvement over the old one. Rather than choosing based purely on instinct, I decided to compare a few candidates with an AI attractiveness test. I selected a straightforward selfie and uploaded it to https://overchat.ai/image/ai-attractiveness-test . Within the analysis, I received an overall score together with feedback on different facial features, which made it possible to understand more than just the final rating. The system evaluates aspects such as facial symmetry, proportions, skin quality, jaw definition, and general facial harmony. I then uploaded my previous profile picture to see how the two images compared. Interestingly, the older photograph performed well in some categories but had weaker results overall because of the angle and lighting. I took another photo using a cleaner background and more even illumination, and the assessment improved. That convinced me that the quality of the photograph itself plays a major role in how an AI evaluates a face. I also appreciated that the results could be used to compare several images rather than forcing me to accept the first analysis. After testing a few options, I chose the picture that combined a relaxed expression, straight camera angle, and natural lighting. I did not become obsessed with the numerical score because attractiveness is obviously subjective, and a photo rating cannot describe someone’s entire appearance or personality. For me, the useful part was the structured feedback and the ability to understand why one photograph worked better than another. It was a simple experiment, but it gave me a much more practical way to select future profile pictures.
