What worries me most is paying for a pile of press releases that nobody reads. I’d rather have two or three relevant articles than twenty mentions on sites that have nothing to do with my industry. I’m checking whether agencies actually build relationships with journalists, how they choose publications, and what they count as a successful campaign. For anyone who has hired a digital PR agency, did the coverage bring anything useful beyond a backlink?
